Recently we found new flying spot much closer to Sydney then Camden for westerly winds. It is located just south of Bankstown airspace. The other day we tried flying there with Sean. It is good to fly new place, new areas to explore and admire from the air. Fun!

Stanwell PPG
One afternoon the wind dropped off and it was not possible to stay up freeflying in Stanwell. Then I decided to fly PPG from the hill... well technically not PPG. To follow the rules I took off with motor off - freeflying take off, started engine ever the beach and went away. When I come back for landing I killed the engine well away from the hill and top landed. Landing was also technically freeflying. Lots of old, grumpy faces when I pull out the motor but hey! - I was following the rules :-)

Sandon Pt to Hill 60 flight
We decided to try to fly to Kiama from Sandon Point. Unfortunately behind Hill60 the wind picked up and we struggled to came back. Tony decided to land and I opened the trimmers to accelerate a bit. I made it to Sandon Point where the wind was calm. It is amazing how the wind can change on 20km coast line. Enjoy the pictures!

Cronulla sunset paramotor flight
Cronulla is pretty unique place to fly. It is necessary to stay on the VHF radio just in case some general aviation traffic would be flying there also. Long beach on the Nth end and houses on the S end. Pure fun with light E winds.

Camden - windy...
Recently the wind picks up in the evening in Camden but we decided to fly with Matt anyway. 60km/h ground speed one way and 15km/h the other. Cold air and one hour in the air - after all it was nice to be in the air again!
