Lake hume flyinn day 1

30+ pilots decided to come to Lake Hume Flyinn. This was an opportunity to meet them for the first time in person. Most of them I knew from facebook of forums. What an awesome bunch of friendly and helpful people! I will be back - certainly :-)

Glorious Sunday with Tony, Matt and Graham

That was a beautiful Sunday with light winds and nice company. I did three flights during which I was testing my radio communication with Matt, full reflex flying and speedbar adjustment. Everything works perfectly, I am very happy with Nucleon WRC. Again, this time GoPro was under the canopy so a couple of shots from this perspective:

Sandon Point paramotoring

Thunderstorms were in the forecast but the weather looked good for the next couple of hours so I decided to go to Sandon Point and fly. After nice, warm flight over the beach a huge thunderstorm cloud arrived and with no time to spare I packed all gear. This time camera was located under the wing. Enjoy these shots:

Bumpy bellambi flying

It was very sunny day with a bit too much wind 13-15 knt. Launches and landings were easy in this wind, penetration against the wind was pretty good in full reflex mode and flight downwind was like on the rocket. Due to westerly wind mixing with northerly down close to the ground the air was unpleasant and not safe to fly. I gave up after 15 min, Tony didn't even try to fly. Good beaching weather!

Moon flight

No, I didn't get to the moon but I was flying with it. Full moon was in the West and the sun was rising in the East. Beautiful sky, pretty scenery and the morning sunlight painted the view. Couldn't ask for more!

Chase cam and fogs...

There is something magic about flying the sunrise... the paragliding urge is satisfied in the morning and the whole day ahead is a pretty good feeling. Another nice flying from the cricket field. This time GoPro3 as the chase cam capturing a video and taking pictures every 5s at the same time. Enjoy!
