Morning flight with Sean

This time we flew with Sean from Prestons. Over an hour of buzzing over neighborhood in nil wind conditions. First we flew to the west then south along the Hume Highway and then returned to launch zone. Beautiful sunrise and a bit of fogs. I love fogs! :-)

Morning flight with Daniel

After a couple of years Daniel decided to start paramotoring. He get his endorsement done with one of the instructors close to Sydney and was ready to go flying the next weekend. An early take off - Daniel went first, then myself. We had very pleasant over 1 hour flight and were landing just when RC models pilots were getting ready to fly. Fogs, hot air baloons and some low flying is what we enjoy the most!

Foggy Camden

During spring and autumn Camden area is often covered with fogs which in composition with rising Sun are paining beautiful pictures. I took a shot to show this in the movie. Enjoy!

Majors Creek to the coast

It was Matthew S. idea. The ultimate plan is to fly from Canberra to the coast but since Major Creek is half way we decided to try flying it first. Very strong westerly winds were pushing us over 85km/h at the times. We realized that the clearings in the forest which we saw on google earth are not as big and clear as we expected. This forced is to give up the plan and land way too short. Then we packed everything and drove to the coast to fly there again. Pleasant cruising along the beach for another 2 hours. Weekend well spent!

Sunrise flight with Sean and Cass

Two big fellas and myself decided to flight on early morning in Prestons, SW of Sydney. I arrived just before sunrise, put my equipment together and get ready to launch. The take off was not easy because right after inflation I got a small puff of a tail wind and had to run very hard to actually be able to lift off. Finally managed to get into the air after over 50m sprint with 30+kg on my back. This time I flew without airfilter and the fuel consumption dropped from 4.2L to 3L/h. I got also 120rpm more without airfilter. Nice improvement. This was over 1h flight, very enjoyable:

Prestons early morning with Sean PPG

Recently we found new flying spot much closer to Sydney then Camden for westerly winds. It is located just south of Bankstown airspace. The other day we tried flying there with Sean. It is good to fly new place, new areas to explore and admire from the air. Fun!
